Friday, March 17, 2006 - Almost black purplish color as one would expect from such a young Bordeaux. It almost colors the glass rosa when you swirl.
Gentle warmish nose of mature dark fruits/berries and vanilla yet with a good concentration and freshness to it.
Taste is soft lush cassis, chocolate and tobacco. Tannins are almost sweet and well hidden showing their true colors only at the end of the sip. It ends a bit on the dry side but with a nice long aftertaste. It has power in a gentle way but lacks more finesse, maybe when given some more time? Great QPR.
