Monday, May 10, 2021 - Dark ruby garnet color turning amber at the rim with a transparent edge. The nose gives off high octane aromas of smoky dark berries with old leather, iodine and forest floor. The palate is medium-to-full-bodied with a velvety texture and medium acidity to balance the ripe blackberry, dark raspberry fruit. There’s a solid mid palate that introduces secondary flavors of black olives, dark chocolate, and espresso notes coming through to a heightened finish with hints of eucalyptus and scorched earth. Drink now until 2028. 92+
