Monday, November 15, 2021 - Lovely nose of rich cassis, plum, wild strawberry and polished leather. Medium bodied on the palate and sweet black fruit, rose petal and some acetate from the hot vintage. Smooth, integrated tannins and a medium spiced fruit, licorice and leathery finish. Lush claret that definitely shows signs of its heatwave vintage but is great value and delicious nonetheless.
