Monday, February 20, 2023 - Drank with D at champetre last nite. Tropical fruit and some grapefruit aromas. Somewhat oily texture, round mouthfeel, some honeysuckle & tropical fruit and lime flavors. Solid acidity (which worked well with my bouillabaise entre), and a gravelly texture. Focused flavors, perfect balance and well-integrated elements result in a superb, impressive wine. Weird, but this wine seems so light and elegant, yet is on the oily, unctuous side of the mouthfeel spectrum. Really nice wine.
