Tuesday, October 25, 2022 - This is a really great Northern Rhone syrah. It has the ripeness and wild notes of Cornas, without some of the refined nuahce the best Cornas achieve. nose shows a ton of bacon fat and roast meat, blackberries, plum, anise. Remains rather youthful at 9 years. A bit of vegetal notes. Rosemary. Palate balanced with ample acid, fine tannic structure, coating mineral, with plenty of fruit still. Secondary development there. This is remarkably good for declassified Cornas.
