Saturday, November 30, 2019 - Oh my, this is gorgeous! These notes are from memory - drank this 5 nights ago with Thanksgiving Dinner. Popped the cork an hour before dinner and the aroma of cherry and spice (and perhaps a hint of violet) was immediately evident. When swirled in glass the aromatics pulled me in. On the palate, perfectly balanced, medium-bodied, black-cherry and spice throughout and a long finish. Quite Burgundian in style based largely on the refined, but very present red to dark red fruit. However, it did not have any of the earthiness Burgundies often display. Can't imagine this wine getting any better. Drink and enjoy now!
