Friday, October 6, 2023 - Last of the Leflaives, an additional and generous pull from a dear friend. Slightly reductive with smoke, meyer lemons and toasted sesame on the opening. On the palate, it shows off heft and complexity with layers of yellow peaches, nashi pear, barley and dried persimmons. Linear and precise yet expansive at the same time. Probably one of the best 2013s I've had so far.
