Even the palate I wouldn’t call green, but it has a tart drying character. Tannins are low/medium, dusty in character, but fruit seems to fade on the palate the longer the wine sits in the glass. Label says 18 months in French oak, 20% new. Huh. Medium weight palate, with some black-tinged cherry flavours, but very patchy on the tongue, with a just-medium length finish. Probably past best as far as interest goes, but it’s not about to fall over soon.
