90 Points

Saturday, May 11, 2013 - Flavors could be a little more integrated, but nice depth of flavor with a solid finish and the right amount of oak. I haven't hit much green in this, as others have referenced.

5/14/2013 10:53:00 AM - My experience is that this first vintage of Montagna has a lot of bottle variation. I have posted notes on two, and consumed a few others.

I had one that was a huge disappointment in the four, and one that was just OK. The more recent bottles have been as you described, well balanced and shedding tannins at this point.

Seems to me like it has gone through a couple of awkward phases. This is characteristic of some vintages of DA as well.
