Friday, March 31, 2023 - $100 Plus Tasting Year 2 (Minneapolis, MN): This was not good overall and super overpriced in my opinion. 2011 is a vintage to avoid. Tasted like a cheaper Aussie Cab with Eucalyptus overload. Green peppers, lacks fruit and the nose is the only redeeming quality. Pass.

11/26/2023 12:40:00 PM - While it's not likely this will ever be a legendary wine, I do believe it demanded a tasting over 3-5 days. I tried one in 23 as well and it had all the adolescent charm of an immature brunello on day 1--it softened some but was largely unyielding for 4 days. One thing is for sure, it has a very long life ahead. Whether it does anything with this opportunity is yet to be determined.

I'm a fellow local, would love to know more about future MSP events and tastings if you're ever looking for additional wine or people to share the experience with. Happy to contribute on both fronts. Shoot me a private message if that's a thing here, or I can share my email. Happy holidays!
