Saturday, May 15, 2021 - This wine was bricking seriously and had an almost maderized expression so thinking something maybe went wrong in storage; nevertheless it was a really nice wine with complex nose with lots of dark berries, leather, cola and some dark chocolate on the nose, whereas the palate was more elegant and barolo like with something more red fruited and floral as well as a hint of balsamico and old wooden casket. Based on this experience, I'd say drink up, but again, not sure about storage so I can't say this is how the wine is automatically developing for other bottles. I'de be interested to learn how others are doing with this wine at this stage or later.
