Friday, October 30, 2020 - Predominantly mulberry and black current on the nose with a whiff of vanilla and cedar. Medium bodied with a soft tannic structure. Dark cherry flavors overpower any complexity both forward and mid-palate with just a bit of spice coming through. Unremarkable short to medium length finish. Throws a fair amount of sediment at the end. An especially dry season for Clare Valley may not have been ideal for Cabs. A decent table wine, but not at this price point.
