Friday, August 27, 2021 - Short notes from memory

Initially somewhat dominated by oak notes, but after decanting it for 3h and warming up some those notes integrated well into the wine. Dark dense and rich fruits. Black cherries, saddle leather, habano tobacco. Full bodied with plush tannins and a good acid structure. Drinking at the height of its maturity. Will likely stay here fore a few years to come. Solid value.

ABV: 13.5%
Closure: natural cork
Stem: Gabriel Glas StandArt
Decant: 3h (would have done 1-2 more, but my guests were thirsty)
