Wednesday, September 16, 2009 - A smokey, jammy nose of ripe blackberry, toasted oak, dried herbs, soy, and pepper. Loads of sweet fruit, but a bit disjointed with too much wood and a hint of oxidation. Pleasant enough, but just starting the slow decline. I'd drink rather than hold.
