Thursday, December 22, 2022 - Not a lot of fun for the first 3-4 hours open, it was so tannic and grippy. But it eventually released its fruit and found its groove with a bouquet of licorice, rasp/blackberry, pipe tobacco, cocoa, violets, and perfume.
What I initially thought might be over the hill turned out to be simply reticent and shy and my patience was amply rewarded. This turned out to be spectacular again.
