Sunday, July 20, 2008 - Deep purple in colour, this Carignane showed sweet cherry fruit, vanilla and a hint of capsicum on the nose. The palate showed dark red fruit, spice and a little tobacco characters. Dry finish with supple tannins. Nice, but not overly complex.
