Saturday, March 7, 2015 - It is a little on the simple side, and possibly contains a touch of residual sugar, but it only costs 7 bucks. The color is moderate magenta and considerably more opaque than typical for an Argentinian Malbec. The nose is pretty decent with bramble, wild berries, and rose petals. A little light on the palate. The fruit is there, but not terribly expressive. Has that soft mouth feel of some whole cluster fermentation. Probably been heavily filtered. Red fruit on the finish.
