Friday, December 23, 2022 - Pale gold color. Loads of caramel, baked apple, and butter on the nose. Medium-to-medium-full body, medium-to-medium-low acid. Very rich, with initally noticeable oak. Took some time to open up before delivering lemon curd, orange marmalade, and crème brulee, and a hint of oxidized flavors. Really great depth and length. Outstanding example of California chardonnay; wine of the year candidate
