Thursday, December 23, 2021 - Wow. This is stunning. Makes me truly lament the numerous Aubert Chardonnays I had way too young. At eight years of age this is stunning . Deep Golden hue. Tropical fruits, some creme brûlée, a bit of crushed rocks and salinity on the nose.
The mouthful is beautiful . Some tart apple and tangerine, with pineapple - def medium plus bodied. Long finish with pleasant bitterness . Terrific acidic cut. This is really a true CA grand cru.
