Saturday, May 6, 2017 - Quite light red, some sediments.

At first it gave blood/meat, pepper and dark berries on the nose. Dominant acid and dark red berries on the palate straight after opening.

After 45-60 minutes in a decanter there were more floral aromas, as well as hints of italian liquorice. It has a decent mouth-feel, quite juicy with a taste of cherries and liqourice, quite long finish.

Absolutely decent wine but one might expect a bit more elegance at this price level.

Will leave my other bottle for a year or two.
