Served next to 2012 SLV. Bright fruits, "black raspberries" chocolate, violets. Sweet and soft on the mid palate. Dusty tannins that should resolve in the coming years. Medium finish.

Not as "big" as the SLV, I think this is more accessible at a younger age. Will add weight and complexity in the bottle, most likely and be ready in about 3 years. Should drink well for first 10 years of its life
