Monday, July 27, 2020 - Tasted blind. The nose is pretty, but mostly dominated by dark fruit, leather, and some cocoa flavors. Somewhat astringent and fairly tannic on the palate with good acidity and more dark berry/fruit flavors. Overall, quite tart and primary. Medium finish. A good, but weird wine. I did not find this characteristic of a Chambolle-Musigny and was shocked to see the producer/price tag.
