Sunday, July 16, 2017 - The bouquet, upon first opening, is one my favorite scents, full of fruit, herbs and earth. Very lovely.

Bonnie and I are drinking this well before it's prime, the tannins attack, retreat, attack again, pull back, rush forward, surprised by the presence of so much oxygen all at once. In a few years, 5 maybe, it will be thoroughly under control and ready to present.

Bonnie's less impressed than me and went 88-89 on this wine. That's fully accurate for where it is, but I'm rating on the potential which is 90+.
