Sunday, March 12, 2017 - Terrific nose - black fruit, some red fruit notes too, violets, some menthol. Still tannic due to its age (would never open a Monte Bello this young). I would cellar for at least 10 yrs, if not more. A great Monte Bello in the making. '12, '13 and '14 are all stellar vintages for Monte Bellos.
