Sunday, August 6, 2017 - California Vacation (Sonoma, SF, Monterey); 8/5/2017-8/12/2017: Tasted at winery. Wow. Really excellent. So much more there than the '14 estate, and the best of the three Monte Bellos presented side by side. Lots of tannins that will take some time to resolve. Mouth filling body with black fruit, sweet spice, violets, and a dusty dried herbal character. Med + finish.
