Thursday, May 24, 2018 - The nose was layer, intense and dark with masses of black and red berry fruit, currants, and plum followed by hints of mint, cedar and fresh pine. On the palate, I found velvety textures offset by wave after wave of tart blackberry, currants, savory herbs, saline mineral, brisk acids and saturating fine tannin. The finish was wonderfully long with tart black fruits and minerals, but also painfully young.
