Sunday, July 4, 2021 - It’s July 4th so I wanted a great American Wine. I choose my favorite which is Monte Bello. This is my 2nd bottle of my case. Opened for 2 hours. Color is deep and opaque Ruby. On the nose: Cassis, plum, kirsch and leather. On the palate: Cassis, violets, plums, some forest floor, tart cherry and kirsch on the finish. Very elegant mouthfeel. Just world class wine. Fabulous effort.
