Sunday, January 10, 2021 - Still some dark berries on the nose with secondary notes of chocolate / mocha and leather. Medium to long finish with softening tannins and balanced acidity. Great bottle of wine.

Before the world shut down, last February I was fortunate to take part in a NB vertical with Glenn Fawcett and Ross Wise hosting. The 2013 and 2009 were the clear favourites of the room - the 2013 was my favourite. The earlier vintages are breaking down and the newer vintages are quite green still. The variation between vintages is noticeable.
