Saturday, February 17, 2007 - Color is dark garnet/purple to the rim. Nose shows cassis, graphite, cedar, and leather. On the palate, cassis and dark fruit are at the fore, framed by tobacco, leather, dark spice. Flavors were very muted at first, and took about three hours in decanter to open up. Will be very nice in 5-10 years.
