Friday, December 28, 2012 - Drink this NOW as it is just starting its downslide at the end of its life. This is a classically styled and proportioned Chateauneuf du Pape, with nice secondary and tertiary aromas and tastes of garrigue, kitchen spice, and a very healthy helping of Grenache wrapped up in a nice little package. Tannins are resolved and the midpalate is just beginning to thin. A nice bottle for the price paid ($25 in 2011? Wow...).
