Tuesday, April 5, 2016 - What a nose on this dark beauty of a wine. The bouquet was intense and alluring with soaring dark floral tones, leading to crushed ripe cherry, cassis, currant, sweet spice, licorice and minerals. It was focused with silky, dense textures and vibrant acidity giving way to brilliant cherry, blackberry fruit, infused with sweet herbs. This was structured and refined with a long and saturating dark fruit finish. Color me impressed.
