Tuesday, September 12, 2017 - I had entered this bottle as 2012 and was surprised by the lack of evolution in the 2 years since I previously written a TN on that vintage. I'm less surprised since I noticed that it was 2013. It is a burly, quite full bodied and structured Morgon which took some time in the glass to open up and reveal some quite savoury plum infused fruit, earthiness and the beginnings of complexity. I sense that it is holding something back and may benefit from more time. Good.
