Wednesday, September 5, 2018 - At 4 years of age this distinctive and unconventional blend delivers.....one of California's better value whites.
On nose: Apple skin and faint mineral.
On palate : the above notes plus touches of flint ,stone fruit and a faint edge of cinnamon .
It manages to be light bodied , but with some flesh and substance a civilized 12.5 % alcohol .
Good with pasta Alfedo or cold chicken dishes and New England clam chowder....the chenin Blanc acidity can see it through 2 more years.
