Thursday, June 23, 2016 - Really on the fence with this first bottle, at first I was leaning toward the bottle being corked, but then maybe just the style of the wine, either way I have gone back and forth and usually a corked bottle is very apparent. Nose of wet tobacco and damp earth (I think this where I occasionally get the wet cardboard, but maybe not). Drinks nicely, nothing over the top but excellent value at 11 yrs old. Better with food. We'll see how the next bottle stacks up.
