Saturday, June 27, 2020 - My first peek at this bottling, out of 375 mL after a 2 hour decant and drunk over a few hours. For me, young bordeaux may be more approachable, but hardly exciting in their youth. This is just starting to show a smidge of interest. The balance on this is excellent with fairly good concentration. The 89 score reflects its current state, not its potential. I would expect it to be very fine with several more years of age.
