It was not exactly a crowd pleaser, as it did not bring the big fruit and low acid/tannin that most casual drinkers were expecting. Instead it showed somewhat tart-edged fruit and noticeable acid and tannic spine. It was not the ripest wine, but when I grabbed some of the filet they were serving it matched up quite well. If buying, I would stick with Lanessan instead, as I think it’s a markedly better wine.
