Wednesday, June 24, 2020 - BYO with friends - Bordeaux-inspired (Mangiamo, Village Hotel Albert Court): Deep ruby, with some fading on edges. A pepper spiced nose, with blackberry, lavender, and a certain reddish earthiness. A good hit of tannins and power, with blackberry and raspberry flavours, and grass, roses, and tar. Quite a long floral finish
