Sunday, May 31, 2015 - My house white wine. Light yellow. The grapes used to make this wine come from the coldest part of Casablanca Valley (its western part, closest to the Pacific Ocean), and there's no doubt it is one of the factors that explain the quality in this bottle.

In the nose, one can smell pears, pineapples, a bit of vanilla - beautiful overall. But it is in the mouth that this bottle shows well - it's a rich chardonnay, with a strong backbone, and a medium-long finish. It has very good complexity for a under-$15 bottle. I challenge anyone here to provide an example of a better chardonnay in the New World for the price. Stupendous QPR!
