Saturday, May 31, 2014 - Not great. The nose was simple but not unpleasant, with grassy gooseberries and citrussy limes that were quite classic Sauvignon Blanc. The palate was similarly simple, with limey, zesty flavours at the fore. This was a big wine though, especially when not chilled that well, with fat alcoholic notes that the otherwise decent acidity could not mask. Some Indian spice than emerged on the finish. While not disastrous, this was not all that enjoyable to drink either.
