Monday, July 25, 2022 - Nice clear garnet color.

Wonderfully aristocratic nose... cedar, tobacco, saddle leather, blackcurrant, violets, and some herbal notes.

Smooth black fruited palate. Lots of iron and lovely fine tannins. Long palate finishes slightly lactic.

A very fine and classic St Julien. Drinking well now, but no rush on good bottles.
