Wednesday, December 23, 2015 - Relatively light colour with brick on the rim. Traditional Pape in the nose; wet earth, smoked bacon, dark-red fruits, licorice, dried figs and some lemon zest as well as dried orange to complete. Medium bodied on the (traditional Pape) palate with red fruit, earth and dried orange notes. Enough fruits and body for another 2 years; drink before 2018.
