Sunday, April 13, 2008 - Nose of herbs, olives and plums. Significant acid streak that mellowed over time, plum, raspberry and tapenade on the palate. Tannins were hidden behind that acid at first, but as the balance resolved, some sweet tannins filled in the finish and enhanced the raspberry flavors. The herbs and acid make it a food wine for me.
