Friday, February 24, 2023 - This was elegant and perfectly balanced. The mid weight palate is driven by a core of beautiful pure purple fruits, enhanced by a developing complexity, with a seam of graphite, hint of tobacco and bay leaf, and a slightly floral/violet touch. Medium length finish, with a slightly marine/saline element that complements the perfectly ripe fruit and brings you back for more. If you’re being picky this lacks the intensity of the very best in Bordeaux, but it’s just beautifully put together, elegant and delicious. Highly recommended.
