94 Points

Monday, January 14, 2013 - First bottle of the case opened and the Langoa did not disappoint. Classic, refined Bordeaux nose was full of black cherry, currants, graphite pencil shavings, leather and some floral notes. Medium to full bodied on the palate. Tannins were firm, slightly grainy but well integrated. Finish lingered 45+ seconds. Only thing holding my score back was that it was not a little "bigger", but a super wine for sure and I look forward to enjoying the remaining bottles for many years ahead. Paired wonderfully with Beef Bourguignon.
