Friday, October 19, 2018 - Decanted 90 minutes. Showing little signs of ageing on rim - still deep red colour. Nose showing sweet spice, redcurrants, light lavender - quite primary still but little secondary flavours showing. Palate very firm and intense - big tannins, though softening, with redcurrants again on palate. Still quite tight and closed overall. Young and needs time to develop. Drink 2022-37.
