Got this in a vertical tasting pack over the holidays along with a ‘10 (which I drank for Christmas) and a ‘16, which needs to lie down a few more years. Drank this to follow up a 2013 Viader, and honestly may hav preferred the Ridge. As other reviewers have stated, much more Bordeaux-esque than most California cabs, but still has a “freshness” that gives its place of origin away. I don’t drink a ton of Margaux, mainly St Julien and Paulliac. Excellent QPR. Would buy more if it came available. Will hold my remaining bottle for probably at least 5 more years.
