Friday, February 12, 2021 - Mature, rounded, elegant bordeaux blend, sourced from Ridge Monte Bello vineyard. 75% cab, 20% merlot, the rest petit verdot & cab franc, 13.8% alc. Length, finesse, elegance, nothing overdone or out of proportion. Perfect match with home-cooked creekstone fillet mignon and spinach ravioli.
Have been buying and cellaring 2 btls of the Monte Bellos from the winery for more than a dozen years (haven't tried one yet), but the Ridge cabernet sauvignon estate bottlings give a great indication of the quality and style.
