Sunday, December 6, 2020 - Medium ruby in colour with a slight garnet rim & restrained aromas of slightly jammy black fruit, lovely old French oak & earthiness.
On the palate, bold tart red fruit, sour cherry, subtle old French oak, herbal, spice/ pepper, high acidity & medium well integrated soft tannins.
Well balanced & smooth, but still lively from the acidity & pepper. The finish is long & dominated by sour cherry & pepper. Lovely old wine that has aged well.
