Thursday, April 4, 2024 - Easter dinner paired with lamb. This was a bruiser of a wine in its youth, and the window for opening these is just arriving.
Nose: Gorgeous graphite, truffle, cedar and blackberry with sandalwood and leather. An hour of decanting did wonders here. Palate: Generous and supple feel with berries, plum, bit of leather and lots of graphite. Just a joy to drink. Finish: good length and polish, some wood still to integrate.
