Wednesday, August 22, 2012 - Decanted and drank over 2 hours. Dark, thick. Somewhat restrained nose of coffee, red fruit, wood and earth. Texture was silky. Not too much going on in the mouth. More red and black fruits, leather, cassis on the palate, but was holding back. Clearly this is young, but the 2000 and 2003 are young too and much more approachable. Medium finish.
